why wednesday?
every wednesday, just about, is a day of tragedy for me at work. either a pissed-off customer decides to walk in the doors and needs a manager to harass. or an employee decides to be sick or absent or whatever. or...(yup there is usually more) a tech comes in to fix something which takes up a whole aisle and makes it hard for us to sell or work or whatever. it's one or more of these things.
today, some of the customers were pretty crabby. cold weather will usually do it to a person. i live in a tundra, dontcha know (in the deepest minnesotan accent possible). plus, 2 of my tires were flat this morning and i got to walk in the cold from the firestone to work. i don't think i ever want to feel hypothermia ever again.

so my boss changed her anus mind and decided that she needs us to stay until the 15th because they can't get anyone to replace us by april 28th.

so start on the 27th or sometime before? i have an online class that starts in march, but i have until may to finish it. you tell me what time to time, and i will go with that. i want to go along with your schedule.
also, i don't care if we stay in your city or go to tokyo. it would be rad to go to tokyo, but i don't want to push the limit. i can stay in the temple dorms with you two if you'd rather go to tokyo. i understand apartments are practically like closets, so i might be too much for ikumi's sister. but, it doesn't matter. whatever you prefer. i'm just excited to be able to go! if we do stay in marugame, all i want is to go to one nearby city. that's all. and i want to go to an okonomiyaki restaurant. one temple. and...i don't know what else.
well, the time frame is anytime between april 27th and may 7th. that's the time that we have vacation. you can stay the whole time from april 27th to may 7th, or you can stay 5 days, 3 days, 7 days, whatev.
now that we aren't being booted out of our apartment on april 28th anymore it probably just doesn't make fiscal sense to go all the way up to tokyo. the only reason we suggested it was because we thought we weren't going to have an apartment anymore and we could meet you in tokyo. but don't worry, we'll go to osaka while you're here so you can get a taste of big city life.
as for going to the temple, the closest temple is in fukuoka, which is a 10 hour busride or a 5 hour, $150 train ride away, so that probably won't happen. sorry...but okonomiyaki will definately be eaten! as will udon, yakiniku, yakisoba, sushi, etc.
i think she meant japanese-style temple, not mormon temple, sarah btw.
more on topic, me and my friends call them "asshat wednesdays". everyone knows wednesdays are full of asshats.

mojo, midwest weather is a little unfortunate. s'alright though. it makes wearing g's okay, especially in summer. it was pretty unbearable when i went home to visit my family and wear 'em, sticking to me. ew.
