on christmas eve, i was at work. yeah. suck. it wasn't too bad, really. customers were generally happy, and it was much slower than the previous day. but...i did have a woman ask the angels in heaven to bless that i would find the book that she was looking for. no joke. she even chanted it a little. her prayer, that is. needless to say, i was trying my hardest to find another customer to help.
today, on my day off, i watched "flavor of love" on vh-1. now, i am not one for reality tv shows. in fact, i hate most of them. but...any show with one of the most insane rapper hype men around with a whole lotta beeyotches...it is comic gold. the rest of the reruns will be recorded. oh yes. they will be.
we have joined more gadget dorkness recently. we got our first flat screen the other day. it's actually pretty awesome, and i like it (even though it cost loads of dough). if anyone wants to come be lazy and watch movies with us, you are invited. you get the uncomfortable couch though...
apparently, i appeared on craigslist recently. one of the managers from the st. paul store forwarded me the email that some person wrote. she didn't let me know where it was, but i googled it. it isn't there anymore, because it looks like the author deleted it. it said something about me helping them find a wedding gift. of course, this time of year...i help thousands of people find books or gifts. so...yeah. i'm a little creeped out, but i think it's funny too. i've finally claimed some craigslist fame without even knowing it. btw everyone, what does m4w mean in computer-speak?
this is what i wish i could be doing all the time. and always with this man and kitty cat by my side...
how does someone get a solicitor on their blog? f. leave me alone. i don't care about making money secret shopping, you bum eater. we're not friends, and i don't think we could ever be friends. geez.
i'm feeling lucky today. all my christmas shopping is done. my house is clean. my cats aren't fighting. and heroes is on tonight. now all i need is some french fries and a coke. if it were only from in n' out...
if you ever want to piss your wife off and guarantee major anger points, don't answer her question. walk to the kitchen, turn the lights off. walk to the living room, where she is sitting, turn the lights off. turn the t.v. off. and then walk into the bedroom and leave her in the darkness. i promise you, as a wife myself, this will get her so heated she will think of you as butt crust. btw, this happened the other night. to me.
this is me almost riding to my death. if you could see my face, it would probably look like the grudge. well...it always looks like that. cuz i'm an asian and all.
when my hair was really short, a lot of people (especially kids) thought i was a little asian boy. when my hair was longer, i was thought of....a little asian boy (with long hair). but today took the cake. my friend sarah had a comment on her myspace account for a picture of her and i. it said something to the effect of me being one of her little japanese students that she teaches. now...sarah teaches elementary kids. i laughed so hard i cried. everytime i think of it i laugh out loud. wow. the girl even mentioned how much she loves japs. icing on the cake. could it get any better than that?
i've been looking at getting a different job. in florida. at this place. what do you think?
this past halloween, i decided to celebrate by dressing my pets. chunky was a ladybug, a.f.i. was pumpkin. she scowled and sat still for a long time, so she made a pretty good pumpkin. chunky went with it, and he even slept for a few hours in costume. i was a nun...but you don't need to see those pictures.
