christmas crazies
on christmas eve, i was at work. yeah. suck. it wasn't too bad, really. customers were generally happy, and it was much slower than the previous day. but...i did have a woman ask the angels in heaven to bless that i would find the book that she was looking for. no joke. she even chanted it a little. her prayer, that is. needless to say, i was trying my hardest to find another customer to help.

you should've gotten someone to get on the intercom and say "you're request has been granted" and turn up the lights or something. then your borders would turn into a site of pilgrimage!
omg, that would have been so freakin' awesome. i wished i would've thought of that. the funny thing about this lady was that she looked like she just woke up from a deep sleep in a coffin. perhaps she knows angels firsthand. she is not alone in minnesota. there are thousands like her here.
