best invention ever

for a long time, our cat afi (yes, like the band. it's a really terrible joke that went on too long.) has shed monster globs of hair all over our house(s). each day would seem like a cancer cat was moping around and dropping precious bits of herself for us to remember her by.

but...i bought a genius tool this past week! FURMINATOR! that's what it's called, and it's amazing. someone recommended it to me when i told them i didn't want to pay someone to shave her all the time or comb her out. it costs $60 every couple of months. highway robbery, y' know?!

we got our furminator in the mail, and it combs the living daylights out of that cat. oh man, does she love it too.

so if you have a mini ewok/owl cat/dog walking around your place making it look like you just laid down animal carpet, get the furminator. it's worth it. hasta la vista, kit-ty cat!

target is so awesome

if you haven't been to target lately, you must live in a cave or something. or you could just be a boy/man who doesn't like shopping.

anyway, target has domo-kun as their marketing dude for halloween. if you're a little bit cool, you know who he is. if you don't, then go to target! by golly, what are you waiting for?! he's so stinkin' scary-cute, i just love it!

the above domo-kun is $7.99, in stores only. aren't you jealous i live in target country where there is a target on every corner..?

GMAT Questions

Is there anyone else out there studying for the GMAT or is smart enough to know how to solve these problems? I was studying an old GMAT test and I have no idea how they got the answers to these problems. If anyone knows, please comment with an explanation, or email me with an explanation. It's like when you see a movie and you kind of recognize an actor, and unless you know who it is it gets under your skin...that's like not knowing how to solve these...its really buggin me.

Please Help

P.S. I'm sure when someone points out the how and why i will feel pretty dumb for not knowing, but whatever...

isadora bea 4 month stats

i should have posted that the stats i gave last time were supposed to be her 2 month ones, but whatever. it was midway between 2 and 3 months.

here is what she is at now:

weight: 12 lbs, 11.5 oz.

height/length: 25 inches

head: 39.8 in circumference

i was worried she was tiny or too light, but the doc says she is fine. apparently, she will be on the tall/thin side. take that asian genes!

she laughs way more now, but she needs daddy around to make her laugh or some tummy tickling. smiling at others is new, but women with husky voices don't do it for her. tummy time is doing well, and rolling is getting better. her neck is strong as ever. she tries to grab everything now and likes to put them in her mouth. we had to keep her away from the goats at the state fair. she is sleeping great, but she will have an off-night here or there. finally, she loves to talk now. a bunch. it's as if she is saying "anarchists at the rnc are so silly sometimes. don't they know pushing trash cans over won't stop the war."

and here is a recent pic of my girl:

note: aim for a diaper that fits

g-ma faleschini told me a story yesterday about this lil' guy:

apparently, he had woken up early and thrown open the doors to her bedroom. she was still in bed and her knickers, so she had to jump out of bed to go chase him. he was pointing around her room, speaking in babble, totally diaperless.

why did he have no diapers, you ask? i guess saleit had bought the next size up in diapers, and they don't fit as snug. since he didn't have pj bottoms on, he decided the diapers were too much of a hassle. anyway, g-ma picked him up and went out her bedroom door, and guess what she found? yup. you guessed it. the motherload, if you will.

thank goodness grandmas are so patient, cuz i would be freaking out.

although, if it was izzy, i probably would have thought it was a little funny. **i did find poop splattered on her nursery wall the other day. it was dried up, so i figure it had been there a while. how i missed it is beyond me. i laughed while i cleaned it up.
