it's about time
so after 2 months of searching, being very picky, turned down a few times, offered a few times (by my last resorts) and then refusing those offers...i have landed myself a new job!
i will be the merchandise presentation associate at regis corporation under the mastercuts/supercuts retail division. i know, i know. sounds long, but it's pretty much part of what i did at borders when i was a manager there but on a corporate level. which means, no more nights and weekends. i am getting paid more, never have to take my work home (big bonus), and i can do my temple work and some volunteering/teaching for experience towards my master's degree.
basically, i feel like laura linney did in "love actually" when the guy she's had a crush on kisses her at her door and decides to stay...and then she tells him to wait a moment and she does this cute lil' dance on the stairs...but without the sex stuff later.

thanks everyone. it probably sounds more important than it really is. i don't think i have anyone that reports to me, like i did at borders. i had almost 40 employees reporting to me there, but i'm relieved to not have that responsibility this time.
