happy birthday to me and baby.
so i decided that i wanted a spiffy new bag for my birthday. but i figured i would combine style and function into one by getting something that i could use for me and baby. i'm not a huge fan of the laminated bags so much, and i didn't want anything with cartoon characters or whatever on it. i may still get a cheap, plain one to put extra stuff in, since the little one will be attending a daycare down from where i work.
but why not treat myself, right?
here are my top choices. and yes. they are all actually diaper bags. can you believe it?!

amanda, i've had my eye on that skip hop city bag for awhile now! i've been very tempted by it's cutey-cuteness. i also like 2 red hens diaper bags, also they aren't super sturdy. who makes the top one???
oh-- and i wouldn't buy a cheap diaper bag for the day care. they will give you one at the hospital-- your special gift from the formula companies!
the top red bag is made by toulouse(?), i believe. all of the bags i listed were on poshtots.com. they have a slew of super cute ones for moms who want the same thing as me (a diaper bag that still looks like a cute purse). this lil' red one is made of leather and stuff, so i expect it to last me a good while. it better, cuz it ain't cheap!

becca, the designers who make the red bag are called "timi and leslie." i went back and checked it again. they have another one in the same style but black flower/plant designs and a darker-cream color for the background. they're so beautiful, they make me cry.
